2009 oil filter caps
Anyone running these yet? How much are they? Are they easier to remove and install like people were speculating at the beginning of the year?

anything has got to be easier then getting that off!
since the first rev was a big improvement (real metal instead of low grade plastic) I'm hoping to see something with a pulling eye (or two) on it..and maybe a $40 factory tool to remove it also (not) My regualr customers aren't happy about paying for those o-rings at each oil change, but I won't do one without changing them.
Ot's really a crummy design ( to make service bucks no doubt ). A spin on solution is just so much cleaner in so many ways I can't see what they were thinking 9 or drinking) when they came up with that system.
OK, so an ultra 250 is no walk in the park to get off either....

o rings arent that uncommon in the design, but the pry off cap is so unneccesary. screw on type would have been fine.
the thin oring is extraneous. i have left mine off for yrs.

So do the 2009 skis have the newer cap like people were speculating or is it the same design?
