polaris starter test
im new to this forum but not to skis. i need to know how to bench test a 95 750 starter.

Welcome to the Hulk.
Ground the body, and put 12v directly to the lug.
It will twist with torque, so hold it tight when doing it.
Caution: it will spark. Make sure there's no gas fumes nearby.

From my experience....take it to a place that repairs starters/alternators.
They will bench check it, replace the brushes, clean the armature and grease it for just a few dollars.
Then you should have a reliable starter for many more hours and you won't have the hassel removing it again.
Double work is never good !!!!
