My E-trex FLOATS!!!
Funny all this time being so carefull ,and last weekend I tried it at the bank the damm thing floats perfect, the book doesnt say it or I didnt see it, ,I will take a picture of it floating, I still dont trust it but makes me feel a little better, even though it does'nt cost a lot.........

The picture was for my nearest academy "EXPERT", that told me .it didnt float and none of them do........... :P

I use a Garmin 76 which is designed to float. Plus, it gives a bigger readout that's easier to see, especially when you're getting bounced around like you might on a Raider.

The Garmin 60CS DOESN'T float, FYI.....

My blue one doesnt float at all, but is waterproof supposidly. I left it in my boat this winter on accident, and somehow the bucket it was in got water in it, it didnt float, and was full of water.
Walmart was happy to exchange it.

The 76 advertizes that fact.. but the case's integrity must be solid.
I bought a nice thick neopream cover from an ebay seller ... it has the clear screen area that you can press the controls thru.
