    New GM Card Discounts

I just got a letter from GM Card yesterday saying that I can get $5000 off 50 of GM cars/truck including the G8 GXP and Solstice GXP PLUS any current incentives. The G8 is $3500 off and the Solstice is $500 off. I assume that I can still deal to get the best price then subtract the incentives. Has anyone driven the G8 GXP? With 415 hp/torque I assume that it would be pretty quick... Ron

I have not rode in a GXP, but I have sat in it and it is a very nice vehicle. It has a ton of interior room and the engine is amazing. Same motor that comes in the base C6 Vettes and new Camaro 2SS, just detuned a little bit (LS3). Keep an eye out, with Pontiac division going away you may be able to find some great deals on G8's on top of this offer. Don't be afraid to try the GT too. Has the L76 with the AFM. Still 361HP which is plenty unless you want every last bit of performance.

Here is a GXP with a CAI tuned by Livernois.

That's ok. Old farts like my boss don't usually have many people who want to ride with them anyway.

The only thing I don't like is that I don't fit in them. I get in and I'm lookin at the top of the windshield. A little cramped.

Too bad, I'd love to get one and then let Mallett have their way with it...
