    Talking Mini Ram Air Mod

Hey guys. I wanted to get some more air to the hull but ride pretty rough salt so was concerned w/ water intrusion. I made a compromise and will detail it here.

I pulled out both front and rear tubes. Raised both front and rear seats. Drilled holes in my bucket and the wall seperating the front from engine. Pulled horn off air box and did a small ram air hole up front.

I took it out last week in 4-5 foot waves and rain...lots of water over bow. Checked hull many times and no more water than usual. Used a digital temp moniter and hull temp was down an avg of 10-12 degrees. Ski pulls stronger and sounds a lot meaner. I will post pics soon.

Any question or advice let me know!!

Interior of hood. Most guys cut the whole piece out in the front and under the hood. I just drilled one hole in the front and two leading to the tubes tha used to be there and only cut a wedge out in front of ski. Less air than the reg mod but less water too. Again, tring to compromise for my riding conditions.
