Can I fix my lanyard switch?

The lanyard switch on my '95 SL750 does not work.
The boat starts w/o it and, clearly, it does not stop
it when you pull it out. The stop button does work.

Think there's a way I can open it up and repair this?

You can give it a shot. It's just a contact switch. So if you mess it up, so what?????

You've got one for $20 offered to you anyways.

For $20, I will just buy it. I had images of it costing $100+.

If anyone happens to have a working MFD for $20, too...
(I only need it for the fuel level, so I'm doing fine w/o one.)

It may be the float is bad. That's a common problem for these aging skis.

If you have the aluminum tube fuel sender, then buy a float from Watcon.com for $26 and it'll be good.

If you have the old float and arm type, check the wires attached on the under side.

That goes for you too Xplayer
