Carbed GPR w/o FA's
Anyone ever run a carbed GPR with open carbs (no FA's)? I know a lot of us run open TB's on the EFI ski's... Just wondering if there is anything to running the carbs open as well...
I guess my biggest worry would be the amount of signal that would be lost....

Definately a concern on signal you would have to do some tuning to get this right. IMO running wide open without F/A's is a safety risk and not worth any gains.

i run my 1200r open carbs, and i know plenty of people that run them like that aswell w/out issues
and yes the jetting will be slightly different than whats proven,
the popular jetting for a 1200 with vf3's & heads is 110p 1.5 n&s 95g spring 120-125 mains. the 1.5 n&s would not work on my ski no matter what spring went in there it would just bugout, so it ended up with stock 1.2 n&s and stock spring and thats how it ran the best..
