Pic's of Airfilter to the front
Here are some shots of the Air Filter to the front storage area of the 04 GTX SC LTD. I used a piece of plexi from Home Depot and fabricated another access panel, used the Grainger tubing, and am using a JAZ 1 1/2 pint mini breather running from the OEM cooling system vent hose (or the hose that an overfilled oil tank would go).
I still have 10 feet of Grainger hose @ $5 a foot if anyone is interested. You have to see this stuff to believe how good it is.

Nice clean install! What are your gains?

LOL, Just finished it last night and will not have a chance to get out for testing until after the weekend. Might have to use a sick day at work to get the machine out... Should be interesting because I put back in the Solas after repitch #2 from PPG and added the Powerpipe (non-resonated). If this repitch does not work, that POS Solas is going up for sale and I will stick with the stock prop which has already proven itself worthy.

what kind of mods did you do to your hood on the ski to allow air to get into the front storage?

Check out this link...These are (Mike's) two2curupts pics....Also, not sure about how effective the mini-breather will be, but, it looks cool. Actually, Bruce who makes the Stainless Steel wear rings and I were talking one day and he gave me that idea.....

I have converted mine to all 4". I have a 4" reducer straight from the SC and use 4" drainage pipe all the way to the front. I have the flex tube bending and connecting directly to the suction in front of the seat. I put outwear water filter on it.
To get cool air into the compartment for the engine since I took the intake, I cut a 4" hole on the opposite side of the gas cap. I put a 4" tube with outerwear water filter.
On the back I'm going to cut 2 3" holes and put pipe coming up between the grab bar and use a 4" attwood fan to blow out exhaust air.
I'll have pics soon.
My 4" silicone reducer to the SC connection is still in the mail.
I think this is the best solution it's a mix between riva and ppg. It pulls air directly from outside using the vents and I have tested it doesn't bottleneck.
