O.K. Fuel Filters? SLT 750
Alrighty, I got a 95 slt 750 and im in the middle of putting new fuel lines and pump in. Should I also change the filters? The service manual is showing it has 2, Is that correct? If so where is the best place to get these? Does the zigler have em? Dang, I just order some stuff from him too!!!!!

If you put in two, you need to put them in the main line and reserve line between the tank and fuel selector valve. I did away with one of them and put a single filter in the line between the selector valve and water separator. The down side to this is if you ever get dirt in your tank you will have to disassemble the valve to clean it. I don't plan on putting dirt in my tank.
You can get them from any marine shop. They are standard 1/4" filters. Don't use an automotive filter (NAPA, Autozone etc.). An automotive filter may be too restrictive for the fuel flow requirements of your ski.
