Not that i am trying to scare you but...
if you have never driven a jet boat you might want to ask the dealer if he can let you test drive it.
These boats do not drive like any others. I have seen some Damn funny and i mean funny launch and retrives at ramps with single and dual jets.
Wind will spin you like a top. It took me a few times and some added guide poles on my trailer.

not all 08 boats have the clutches updated to metal, i know the pwc's do. i like the wake 230 , but storage in my garage is limited to 22 feet and i like to keep all my stuff out of the elements.

I'am not new to jet drives , i had a 04 and 06 gtx wake so i do have some knowlege of operation and maintenence on pwc's, i rented a challenger way back and it was a hand full when it came to launching, but when your in the open water it's the best thrill compared to stern or other, i'am just looking for the best all around boat for performance (me) and play for the kids.
