    start button sticks down on 03 4tech

    noticed the button does not come back up but sticks down occasionally. how to fix it? bob

    replace it probably the only real fix

    Today I had the same problem. I took apart the switch and found the plastic chrome around the button had casting flash ( flakey burrs) caught there. Took a small file to it and its like new now. Feels like its clicking again when you hit sart.

    Seadoo's fix for that problem is to take the cover off the switch( one phillips head screw holds it on) lift up the start/stop switch put a small peice of 1/16 inch thick foam double sided tape under it, put back together. The foam tape acts as a spacer. I found the foam/rubber hood material works great.
