    Cleacarbsning/washing

some one told me that I could take my carbs out, then take all of the gaskets off and everything then put them in a bucket of gas and let them soak and thats how to clean them. Is that correct?

Gasoline is not a good carb cleaner. And it does not evaporate cleanly.

Use a real carburetor cleaner product, that will properly dissolve the varnish and gum that has built up over time.

You can try the spray carb cleaner, but the gallon can that you soak them in will work the best.

Not sure why they skipped that info in the Mikuni section
