where to buy inductive hour meter

I would like to install one of these inductive hour meters such as:

    https://www.sendec-products.com/xcar...cat=249&page=1

I've ebayed and froogled and can't find it cheaper than about $35. Overtons/West don't seem to have this simple inductive style.

Anyone see one recently for mail order on the cheap?

    thanks

I'm also interested in this hour meter for my 2006 sea doo sportster...Directions say to wrap the wire around a sparkplug wire. But the 4-tec engine's don't have a spark plug wire, they have a boot/coil design. So where do you wrap the wire? Thanks for any info...

OK so I got it an it needs a ground and signal to spark wire. I read on soem yamaha sites some yammer boaters got it working wrapping around the innards of a coil.

    More searching revealed this:

    http://www.motominder.com.au/connection.htm#direct

YOu can just hook it to power and it will count.

So, right now since I have about 55 hours on my boat I just have it connected to a 9VDC transformer in the wall and its going to count up for 2 days.

I will connect it to the ignition or alternator somewhere if the coil doesn't work.

Did you get it hooked up? If so, how? I have a 2006 Sporster SCIC and would also like to set mine up.
