    r&d 1200 or 1300 ride plate

Which is better? I have a gp1200r and just curious which would be better for now until I send it in to jim this fall.

The current R&D plates that you buy either the 1200 or 1300 are exactly the same. The only difference is that the 1300 plate comes with a new pump strainer plate to prevent any clearance issues on the 1300.

I have a new R&D 1300 plate if you are interested.

FYI - the old school 1200 plates are slightly faster than the 1300 plates. Look at the skegs on both and you'll see why. They also have more material and webbing than the current plates.
