    785 Pro primer

I am looking for the primer part number that goes right beside the start button. The polaris dealer can't seem to come up with the part number

    Welcome to the Hulk:

Click here for the Polaris Service Manual.

Click here for the Polaris Industries parts diagrams and cross reference web site.

I thought the Pro 785 carbs had a choke system, not a primer.

Is there a choke lever on the handle bar?
Item 15 in the attached diagram.

Is it possible the primer is an aftermarket part?

    Correct.

I'm sure the primer is aftermarket.

You can buy just the plunger or a whole new triple carb primer set for around $30.

They're sold at alot of places. Anyone caryying PWC parts will have them.

I will have to get a picture of it over the weekend. What is to the left of the starter button on everyone elses? Just incase a past owner changed something over.

    Thanks for the welcome

All the carbed models came with a choke. So, more than likely the choke knob.
