    ~~Im a believer in the plate~~

ok guys my current best was 64.3 with my Riva plate. Yesterday I borrowed a "Jim's Plate" and immediately ran 1.9 mph faster on GPS!!!!!! that was the ONLY thing I changed and the runs were done consecuitively so it wasn't a "conditions" issue. The ski felt much more planted and controlled even in super rough chop. I even ran 65.7 with 2 people on the ski after bolting the J-plate on! IM A BELIEVER IN THE PLATE!!!!!

try angling the riva plate to the same heigth as the Jplate and compare the two. When you move from a non-angled plate to any angled plate - there will almost always be gains (to a certain extent).

Has anyone ever angled the stock plate on the GPR? I was wondering about that.

    Awsome numbers by the way!!

Yes John I had a stock plate with right at 50 thou taken off the bosses nothing else ran the singlepipe with the old style pump with a 15-24 solas concord at 79.1 fastest but always at mid to high 78's. I also added a 42thou washer to the front. the angle was very low only could get 770's or so out of the angle

Yes I have a ground stocker at 5 degrees. It runs very well. that and a three degree cone, and you can OWN the chops! But best speeds are comming from the R&D as I grind a way at it( more angle). I'm still waiting for it to start hopping.
