Cracks in hull 2009 rxt-x
OK,every one needs to be careful. After only 7 hrs riding in lake water our new T has hairline cracks in tunnel area. Calling dealer today. Will let Forum know what happens.

I inspected mine this past weekend and it looks pristine at 48 hours (knock on wood).

MY first weekend it was perfect(4hrs). Second weekend cracks! could not believe my eyes.

My guess is that BRP will blame it on something that's out of their control - like improper adjustment of the trailer bunks or something similar... Ron

Even if they take responsibility how do they fix it? It seems like they will have to make a new design hull.

There are a couple of DIY posts on how to beef up the pump tunnel with with either fiberglass cloth or carbon fiber. From what I have read, most have been able to do it from beneath the ski. One dealer even did the repair under warranty (I assume that the dealer ate the costs and not BRP)... Ron

Great, let us know how it goes. If enough people get dealers to put in claims, BRP will get the message... Ron

unless the rough has damadged it and other day brought it out?
or going wot in the calm and hitting small ripples causing the hull to lift up a little maybe causing the hull to flex and start small cracks?
