Unhappy Any Ideas on why this happen

Replaced the entire top end on my 01 gp800r and took it out yesterday. ran almost 2 hours and did great, ran perfect, then it popped and died.
Got it home and pulled the cylinders and found the rear piston broken on the both bottom sides of it. the top appears fine, checked the power valves, crank, rods, and cylinder. nothing looks bad.

Any ideas why this happen the 1st time out???

Look's like it ran dry. Oil line or oil pump prob. I'm rebuilding a 800 righ now. And the cust has a 01 gpr800 42 hrs and a old oil line came off. Look's the same but no broken piston. So dry it cocked a seized the piston. Causing the damage.

i put a pice of rubber hoes that fit on the pump shaft and got a drill bit the same size ahd spun it with a drill. At that time bleed the pump also. If air got in the pump won't put out.
