New Kind Of Cheap Bug Spray

My lovely wife says to use "Listerine" instead of bug spray at 1/10th the cost. Somebody bring some and a little spray bottle to the parking lot parties (Wed. / Thurs,, etc.). I'm flying carry-on, so can't do.
I guess she doesn't want me to get bit by mosquitos.

It's a new deal just out, so maybe it works. Someone may have some anyway. Worth a try for those who don't like potent chemicals. I like deet because where I come from, the skeeters are as big as beer cans, and have been known to swarm and carry off small children.
    Is this the BS thread?

Yikes! I forgot about them gators. They're waiting for me to return after I whacked 2 of them last year. Couldn't see them in the lily pads as I lead the gang up the Labadieville bayou to the sugar cane field beer stop. The first one was a 14 footer. Rode across his back at about 50 (soft log feel). First guy behind me (maybe Mongo) got a look at it. Second one (8 footer), hit my sponson with his hose, and nearly flipped me off into the trees, and you don't want to leave the trails into the trees. (gators, snakes, big spiders and a host of other swamp critters) Better pack my armour this trip.

Yeah, if Snopes say's no-go, then prob. true. Something w/Deet will work. You can also hook up a buddy to rent a flame thrower. He can def. keep the 'skeeters off of you but the side effects are hell.

For the gators...Buy a raw brisket and rub it all over you, when you are done, hang the brisket from the rear of the ski.
