    Return fuel line Question

I just took my carbs off of my 780 SLX for a good cleaning and noticed that where all the return lines are connected together the very last nipple that would be connected to the line that goes back to the gas tank is blocked like it never got machined out from the factory. The nipple is closed i dint think that any fuel could get past. Is this right? Should i drill it out? Thanks

That is probably the built in fuel flow restrictor. If you look very closely, you should have a tiny hole in there.

The tiny restrictor hole forces the fuel pump to build up pressure, which the carbs need to manage fuel flow through each carb and into the engine.

    Don't drill it out.

Your carbs look like these right? Note the drill bit, there's a hole there.
