    MSX150 Going together

Kevin and I finally started on a project, a simple one but at least we started on something.

We sent Jay an engine that somebody else tore apart and had him reasemble it with some porting and other little tricks for the 150. The crazy guy even marked every screw nut and bolt that needed to be removed for engine installation.

I must say, Honda had the right idea when they decided to install engine access panels because the room with the Weber Turbo engine sucks ASS. It's easier to install a set of triples.

Nice to know you guys got it back with no components crushed. LOL

Should be interesting to see how the mods work out.

This is going to be the "Test Pig" for the Jim's Modded Ride Plate also.

Pump is installed and ride plate is in the box waiting for a little testing. We are also going to install the 03 ride plate just to see the difference between the 03, 04 and Jim's.

We also found that once mated DON'T change out the cooler brackets because one looks purtier. Nothing like getting it together and finding the intake doesn't line up.

Well we were almost done when fate blew us an ugly hand, Chris came bye the garage...
Actually he had nothing to do with it BUT we didn't install the intercooler before the engine and now we hav a fitment issue, anybody install one without removiing the engine?
Maybe just removed the engine mount hardware and slid it back enough to install the innercooler?
    Suggestions??

And might I say I really didn't think you'd have to pull or remove an engine just to replace an intercooler, why wouldn't you just modify the hull so the unit could be R&R'd?

Anyone?? We are trying to get this thing on the water next week. It has to be broken in still. We sooooooooo do not want to pull the engine to put in the stupid intercooler. This sucks bad.
