can someone please tell me what the best slip moment to set my 06 RXT s/c to in inch/pounds. It is stock and has new Riva washers. Thanks! I just bought the best torque wrench that Craftsmen makes, reads from 25 to 250 inch/pounds.

If it new, 7-12 Nm or 62-106 lb.in
If broke in, 5-10 Nm or 44-88 lb.in
Make sure the torque on the nuts is in spec.

In case you need to ask, 30Nm/22 lbf.ft on the nut, plus don't forget the 243 loctite on the wheel side nut.

- you can not "set" the slipmoment on a stock SC shaft, you can only check the slip moment !
- if you dont have more then 9-10 NM, you have to replace clutch washer gear 16 and /or springwashers , you can check the service book for teh specs on teh gear 16 and spring washers
- you can have the slipmoment as high as max 27 NM, more will result in a snap`d shaft.
- you can use 0.2 mm shims to increase your slipmoment , dont use more then max 2 shims. teh shimms should be places in the following order between the spring washer )|()|()
