Target Price for New 08 FX SHO/SHO Cruiser??

    Hey Guys-

A local dealer here has 2 leftover 2008 FX SHOs. One Black FX SHO and One Red/Gold FX SHO Cruiser. They are asking $11,200 for the Cruiser and I haven't gotten a quote on the FX SHO yet. He said they will deal better though than the quoted price.

I'm leaning towards the Black FX SHO and I'm trying to determine a target price for the ski. I also need a new trailer as my GP800 is sitting on another single one. They only sell Load Rite trailers, and they quoted me $999 for the WV1200 Galvanized trailer.

I was thinking of offering anywhere from $10,500 to $11,000 OTD for the FX SHO, Trailer, tax, tags etc. What do you guys think? Do you think thats too low/ too high? I figure I can get at least $2K off MSRP for the Ski since it's an 08 and a few hundred off the trailer to offset taxes. I'm in VA and the tax rate is only 3% on vehicles.

Also, I saw some posts about comparing the Load Rite to Venture trailers, but how about the Triton Elite Single versus the Load Rite? Both are galvanized and I was quoted $1400 OTD for the Triton Elite.

Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    JP

    Just an Update:

We purchased the 08 Black FX SHO for $9800 and I went with the Load Rite Trailer, as he knocked $100 off the quoted price. Its a nice trailer, galvanized with a tongue jack. I think we got a pretty good deal overall. Now, time for some mods

What did the $9800 include? Was this OTD? Taxes/prep? Any accessories?
