Help With 4 IN Kanaflex install NEED HELP

It is 32 degrees here today (summer in Montana) I got all the parts ready for install. The R&D supercharger coupler won't fit on the end of the supercharger as there is not enough space! This is a 2008 RXT-X the silver unit the sits behind the supercharger (near the back of the ski - the one that has insullation and a black rubber coating on it) is so close I can't get the coupler over the end. Even if I could get it over I am not sure then I could get the kanaflex over it - as the space is so small.

Has anyone ever shaved the coupler down to fit? Is there a thinner way to do this with th e4 in Kanaflex?

    Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about the waterbox? You can take the strap loose from the waterbox and the clamp nearest the waterbox and move the WB back a little. The strap is hard to get back on be prepared for that. It will all fit don't worry. I put the adapter on first then the hose and clamp. Its tight, but it will all fit in there.

more than likely hes buying the parts from them and building it himself. A few of us have done it, no real benefits other than it looks nice and is a little more sturdy.

When you install take extra care to keep the elbow away from the carbon seal bellows. Nothing can touch the bellows or the seal will be skewed and cause the ski to sink.
