    Question 97 gp 760 reverse?

Does anyone have an idea on installing reverse on a 97 gp760? curious if this is possible at all or if a later model pump nozzle assembly would interchange or ????? hate to upgrade when this one runs so well.
might keep my g/f from running into the dock too.....

    Hi,hat

Bumping an old thread, but i have the same question as above. I did a search but could not find anything. So, is it possible for example to fit a XL nozze with reverse. Im planning to build a jet dinghy and got a GP 760 jet pump that iam going to use. A reverse/neutral would be nice, especially since its a skidoo 583 engine with recoil starter...

The GP760 has the Yamaha 144mm jet pump. The only 144mm jetpump I can think of that has reverse would be the Waveventure 700 or WaveVenture 760. So thats where I'd start and then you'll have to see if you can adapt some of those Venture parts to the GP760

Thanks for the answer, ill try a nozzle from one of the above. Maybe i have to machine a adapter plate but it will be while worth it. I understand that people most use the 150mm jet pump for this kind of applications, what is the aprox. max hp for a 144? I know the GP 760 is rated somewhere around 90hp.
