    Slt750 hull interior painting

Went to west marine here in marina del rey ca to buy paint for the interior hull of my slt 750 while the motor is being machined at blocks r us in simi valley ca.

Having a fresh rebuilt with a shiny coat of polaris fuji blue i just had to have a freshly painted hull for the whole interior to stand out.

The paint i bought is for the bilge area for a boat.

I washed the interior of the hull with industrial strength cleaner to thoroughly wash out the hull of any oil..................for the paint to correctly stick to the hull

Looks great. Tell us more about the paint and how you applied it.

    cleaned out hull

Here's a pic after I cleaned out the hull with some pretty powerful cleaner i had laying around that I got from Buckeye Int'l before I started to paint. The interior of the hull did shine up pretty well with the cleaner too.....!

    The paint I used

Here's the paint I used that I bought at West Marine. It's called BILGEKOTE. I applied it with a small mini plush roller and a small paint brush.

    They also have a website.

    Thanks Eric

Dude they didnt have the paint you recommended and specified. Got the next best thing. I asked questions and this paint was the way to go. Cant go wrong with paint designed to be applied in the BILGE area of a boat.
