Looking for good intake grate Genesis
I want to replace the intake grate on my 2000 genesis with an aftermarket one. On the R&D site it says all polaris intakes are the same except for the hurricane.
On the polaris site it says that they are the same except for genesis and MSX.
What is a good choice for the genesis?

What gains are you looking for? My genesis never comes out of the water and the pump is always loaded. I don't believe there will be any gain by you adding a grate to that machine. Spend the money on the pump wedge.

I haven't had it in rough water yet. But the improvement that I got on my yamaha GP1200 was significant so I figured it is a good upgrade for all PWC. It does have a lot longer hull than the GP. Maybe a scoop grate isn't necessary. I just keep thinking that aftermarket parts are soon going to go away because polaris isn't int the PWC business anymore. I want to grab them while I can. Also I have a crack in one of my sponsons and can't seem to find any upgrades. Hopefully polaris is still making them.

someone on here was making ride plates for our boats. Go after that along with a prop and a 6 degree wedge and you are set.
