The solas 4 blade prop is the KING for top end speed hands down.

Have to agree with the four blade being the winner. I just swapped my stock prop on my rxp-x for a skat three blade 14-18 and went from [email protected] down to [email protected]. I am gonna tweak the skat to drop the rpm down a bit but the stock prop may still gain some more speed if I play with it to raise some more rpm with it.

3 blades are the shiznit. The tradeoff for top speed to gain acceleration and hook up is a trade I'll make all day long.

Top speed/WOT runs are cool, when the water is flat, but how often is that? And when the water isn't flat, how long can you sustain WOT before flashes of flyng off of the ski start entering your mind? LOL. I'll take get up and go all day long.

Pulls just as hard from 35, 50 and 60 as it does from a dig. I've done B2B testing with the 3 blade skat and 4 blade solas and I know for sure that I will never go back.

Good info guys. Sorry but I'm a match race kind of guy and top speed is what wins a match race. Acceleration is great but if I can walk you down and pass you, then I win. Period. There is no finish line. Just the back of my head.

Good point. But I guess that would depend on how long the race was. But to each their own. At least you know what you want.
