    Honda Turbo, Wastegate

Wastegate is frozen and doesn't move. Is there a way to free up without buyibg a new turbo for $2900.00. Thanks

You could pull the whole thing off and take it to a turbo specialty shop - see if they can help you. I'd be surprised if Honda actually makes that turbo, but it seems that they're not selling replacement wastegate actuators.

PM Nitro - I think he's retrofitted aftermarket wastegate actuators onto the Honda turbo. We need a "generic" replacement. ATP turbo and other places make generic replacements that could be adapted to the Honda.

The problem you are running into is the arm for the door inside of the housing is frozen, is this correct. If so I can fix it. Please email me at [email protected] and we can go over the details. If it is the actuator then also that can be replaced, but I have done dozen of fixes on the doors and it is very common thing that happens and all of the get the same story when they go to the dealer.
