I have a mixed review of SBT as well,The reason for the rebuild is from 1 of their cranks,
I have about talked myself into the rebuild myself unless I can spend a little more and get a warrenty.
I am looking for a good price on all the (parts) for the complete job.
Do I need to try Ebay?

Try East Coast Cycle Center out in PA. http://eastcoastcycle.com/Default.asp

Ask for Tom in service. They re did my 951 for 1000 with 1 year warranty.

Ask if they use OEM parts or use a SBT engine. For that price I would be leery of WSM pistons.

Jwick, they did the whole engine, or just a top end, for that price?

If I were keeping the ski, I would buy a Rotax reman from here or a dealer. All OEM parts, new stock bore sleeves, can't beat the quality.

I have decided to do rebuild myself,I have found a complete kit for $429. that uses WSM pistons.I am going to find out what the price would be using OE pistons.
