    FZS Oil Change??

Dealer wants 150 for oil change on it / 350 for first full service. Both I think are stupid and ridiculous. I just wanted to see if anyone has any info on what type of oil to use that is best for it and what the steps are to do it. How to remove the oil. This is my first ski that's not a 2 stroke so yes I am a newb haha. So any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Buy an oil extractor. The YamaLUBE 4-Stroke MARINE oil is perfect for you. If you want the best, buy Amsoil. Use Yamaha Filters.

Ok, is that something I can find at a home depot or something. What version of oil, 10w-40?

do it youself bro, save tons of money, and knwo the good job is done on it. most dealers are rip offs and do sub standard who cares work!

just think how much gas you can buy with the extra 110-120 dollars in your pocket intead of teh dealers.

I read the posts to this topic since I was ready for my first oil change and desired to use the Amsoil Synthetic and Amsoil oil filter since their filters do a better job trapping particulates better than most brands. I noticed the recommendation to use only Yamaha oil filters... Why would that be? Can someone explain this to me?

    just weird lol
if it sounds like you are getting ripped off you are ..

change oil filters when you switch brands but after that change it once a year..

I change oil after every race weekend.

you run cheap oil you will screw yourself.. especially if you have warranty..

that or trade in your Yamaha for a chinese knock off ski...j/k...

oem manufacturers spend hundred of hours testing oem spec stuff. No Brain-er unless you get a serviceable stainless steel filter.
