    Questions on Pump selection.

What benefits would a skat 6 vein or 12 vein give a mildly built X4 800? When finished I will have Mel Miller 43cc Buckshot head, F/A's and 15/23 Concord.

Holeshot will be greatly improved over the stock pump, and hookup in the chop will be much better too. A setback pump will get you 1 more mph top end over a non-setback.

I agree. And the additional weight actually keeps the hull hooked better, because it actually sits a little deeper in the water.
