    Need Carb Kit!

Sorry, I am new to this. I have a 1995 Polaris SL750 and was told it needs the carbs cleaned/rebuilt.
It starts and runs in idle fine, but when I give it gas it will bog down and die or it will run about half power. I have good compression.
I talked to a guy that said he would do it for me, but he is going to charge $160 for parts, and $225 for labor.
I'm thinking I can get a kit and clean/rebuild the carbs myself and save a ton of money.... I just don't know where to get it??
    Can anyone help?

    Welcome to the Hulk

Click here for the service manuals, and links to Polaris parts sources and repair services.

John Zigler is one good source for the genuine Mikuni rebuild parts and kits.

Randy at Watcon also has the Mikuni parts, and he offers a carb rebuild service.

Have a look here for other Fuji engine upgrades and maintenance issues you should know about.

You will also finds lots of info in the other threads and posts by other Polaris owners with Fuji engines. Search and read

    DON'T use that crap. ^^^^^^^^^^

Use only genuine Mikuni parts for your carbs.

Like K447 suggested, John Zigler, Randy at Watcon.com, or even Ebay will have the Mikuni rebuild kits.

    Who told you that?

I know they're A/M because they don't say genuine Mikuini parts, and they are sold for much cheaper than retail.

SBT sells their own line of parts. Pistons, gaskets, etc... I'm 99% positive that those are NOT genuine Mikuni......

OK, the needle and seat MAY be Mikuni, but I'd bet $$ the gaskets aren't.
