Noob question about docking new FZS
So i plan on taking the FZS out and stopping on the lake and rivers for Dinner or lunch. Do i need to do some mods or buy some fenders to avoid damaging the boat while its tied up?

That completely depends on where you're docking. Personally, I don't "beach" my ski on sand banks. I get close, shut it off, and turn the ski around backwards and set the rideplate on the sand. This avoids dulling the bottom of the hull. I'm just anal.
If you pull up to a nice dock with lots of bumpers/protection from the edges then all you need to do it tie up. If they have no protection from the sides as most dock do you might want to look into some bumpers.
You are right. This was a noob question. lol Just giving you shit.

most boat docks have their bumpers to high for PWCs. They make pwc bumpers but they are all a bit clumsy. every dock is different and you will just have to be as prepared as you can be when you get there, then think on your feet. Its best to accept now though, that you will get some dings

Sometimes I will take up a whole boat slip and tie my ski up in the middle.

Yamaha makes great bumpers for there PWC. I have it and it works like a charm. They are hull huggers, but Yamaha makes them. Look at this link about half way down. My Yamaha dealer sold them to me.

Bad deal on a fzr at the back theres no where to tie to when docking. I added a hook on the back below the seat just for docking with two lines, hook on back and handle bars on the front!

Hull huggers or bumpers
Thanks for the Link! Should I go with hull huggers or bumbers?
Also do I need to pick up some rope to tie up? Any recommendations there?

I own the YAMAHA HUGGERS. I don't have a link. I bought mine at my local Yamaha Dealer. It says Yamaha on them.
