Arrow Old wear rings: Pitch em or keep em

After you flip the wear rings, everybody pitch or keep them?

I remember someone saying you could revamp the worn ring somehow...

Danny posted a tip, he uses epoxy to fill in the wear and the impeller cuts a new groove.

I have reused mine by coating with plastic epoxy kit. Smooth the stuff out on the inside of liner to get rid of any wear or gouges using a popsicle stick. After it has hardened/dried the prop will shave of any excess epoxy.

I've bumped it up to JB weld, its softer and flows into the cracks better....I actually just threw out my original wear ring that I put in and ran at MudBug....of 2007

I kept 3 in rotation, finally had to kill one because of a really big gouge...Make sure you degrease them with brake cleaner before you apply the JB weld, or it will not stick...Get it flush as much as you can, prop will shave it....After it wears in, it ain't gonna look pretty, but it will work...
