    Screw Size

Does anyone know the screw size of the exhaust mounting screws for 98 gsx -L 951? Exhaust to engine mount.

Exhaust Manifold to Engine Cylinder ?
You need to be a little more specific, there are lots of "screws" on the Exhaust System, here are the bolts...

    M10 x 10mm and M10 x 60mm

The PITA is that SD gives you the thread diameter and the length but they do not give you the thread pitch. M10 has a fine thread and two different course thread pitches.

You will need one of the old bolts or buy two of each. Remember, stainless only.

There are two mounts that hold the exhaust in place. One is located below the raves and the other is infront of the megneto. I believe it is a 10 x 40 M Hex, can someone confirm?

The front one is a hex head, yes. The rear one (on the right side) is a socket (allen) head.

They are both M10X40mm screws. As I said, the trick is the thread pitch. I think they are 1.5, but they could be 1.75 (it has just been too long since I had to buy them).

the standard thread pitch for M10 is 1.5, fine pitch is 1.25

all of the metric threaded components that sea doo uses are standard.

I cant think of any external fasteners on Sea-Doo models which use fine thread except the T-bolt of the V-clamp. Let me know if you found any others
