    Ride plate sealing after spliting

I had to split the ride plate, some of you remember the thread, and now I need to know the best way to put it back together.

There is that rubber gasket between the plate halves, it's in good shape... can I just bolt it back together?

Also the reason I split it was because the guy I had working on it busted off the two coolant in/out fittings. I need to get the two new fittings.... they don't show up in the micro fiche, but I managed to find them.

Is there any sealant needed on those fittings when putting the ride plate back together??

Any other tips I need to know about???

Everytime I opened my plate I just screwed it back together, I did put a small amount of silicon on each screw hole.

As for the fittings, I have had to replace mine every time I took my rideplate out... There is a rubber oring that goes on the fitting that the hose connects to, no leaks for me.
