    stock 04 gpr speed?

Well the wife ran wot the other day on her 04 gpr1300. it now has 10 hours on it. (we bought it last year left over.) It was not impressive compared to the dreamometer. it ran 61.8 with some chops. and I think it may run some faster. but that's what the gps said. fact. I expected to see 63-64mph. I will do some runs this weekend.

It Is BONE stock. 87 octane, 90f, heat soaked. she ran it twice

That temp will slow you down some, but still seems a little off. Mine did 64 and change when stock on gps, but I got the gps at 20ish hours. And had to be low on fuel.

wellI run it this week end. but it is going to be as hot as texas up here. 90's all weekend. that will most likely kill some people up here, not that that is funny, just we are not used to it. I work in a shop that makes plastic parts, so HOT Is just in a days work. but temps bove 85 are rare up here.
but the wife I think is ready to get her ski running fast.

NOT AS LONG AS I'M doing the wrenching. How does she know those parts went on her ski.....heehehheee
Ya her ski is under warrentty, until augest 23. so I don't want to mess with it.she rides very good, we just rode the straights of makinac. It's five miles across the (under) bridge, we rode about 25 miles that day, waves up to 6 foot.
A buddy of mine that I ride with all the time "through put" (went through the main body of the wave) a couple of times, and My wife rode his rider back for him. I had my Crazy kid on my ski.....
any how it just about killed my buddy. he hit that wave HARD.

trim one click up, 1/2 tank. used.
I seen your post on fuel consumtion. We have rode from muskegon to pentwater, it is 44 miles one way. almost ran out of gas on the way there(me) I was screwing around, on the way back, I had four bars left. but I rode steady throttle.
steady throttle is the key. we ride two other long shots. one is 23 miles one way. but no ware to fuel. you can burn up a tank and be running out. or you can come back half full. steady throttle, half throttle you can go a long way(40mph). but if you start screwing around you will swim.
I michigan there are alot of long rides we take.
