That crazy Fercho tells me that at least twice a week. And now Kerry makes
this post telling us about his story. I was wondering why in had a brand new intake grate on his ski at the bug. I check mine by taking a quick look at it, today was no different. A few days ago I had a bad buck at 86 mph, in a full superman position, ski took a wild jump around 3 feet in the air, thank goodness for the skegged plate, I was able to ride it out. I did have a little talk with Jesus on the way back to the boat ramp. After getting hit in the head by a tree last fall, I try my best to make peace with the Lord and hopes he will continue to watch over us as speeds get even faster. Now back to the grate, for some weird reason I was reposition my grate and deceided to take it completly off to look in my pump tunnel while I pulled the pump. I held the grate in my hand for a good 30 seconds. I saw nothing. But then I noticed a crack that was a good 1 1/2 in. long all the way thur. The grate probably had only a few more passes on it befored it ripped in half. I'm lucky once again and very thankful for the people watching out and the man above. Here are a few pics of the grate. You might want to take the grate completly off to do your inspection. I drawed a black line by the lenght of the crack. Ben

Wow, that grate was close to comming apart. Someone needs to try and make a billet grate instead of the cast crap thats available now.
