Thread: Mile Range??

Any body have any idea what kind of mile range they can get on their GPR's? I just need a rough estimate, I know it will vary a little due to conditions, mods, etc., etc., etc.
Depending on teh range we are limited to, we may have a great event in the future that I can put together.

I dont know about milage but "stock" ski's are designed to run for 1hr at WOT

6-9 miles per gallon in the mid range is a guess from my ski using a GPS on long river trips. But every ski is going to be somewhat different according to conditions, speed, and modifications. Anything higher than mid-thottle at a consistant speed will drop the MPG drastically. Hope this helps.

gpr.s seem to be able to 60+ miles on an average ride
i would guess you could get over 70 miles before you need to panic about fuel
fx160 about 100 miles per tank

I went 135 miles with my Ho 160 a few times.
My gp goes 68 miles and then you start swimming.

Are those nubers at WOT, or cruising at a certain speed?

my 2000 with the efi motor goes thru 15 gallons in 2 hours, without fail. i bring along an extra 10gallons on my boat and i always need to refuel. the 2005 gets twice the range, go figure. maybe the efi controller gives it that much more fuel.
