    Seadoo Vs. Yamaha

Living right next to the beach I hear alot of different things about each ski and would like to know from the experts!

I've already searched the forums so if it has already been asked I'm sorry.

I keep hearing that Seadoo is better for saltwater due to the Closed Loop Cooling System but I am also hearing that is worse than just a regular Ski... and that Seadoos break down more.

I am hearing that Yamaha is better due to the fact it doesn't have a CLCS and that they are easier and cheaper to maintain and you don't have to do it as much.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thank you so much

Would you rather buy a BMW or a Mercedes. You pick the car that has the features you like along with the styling you like.

Reliability is no longer an issue with 4 stroke watercraft.

hahaha on the previous post. My .02 is this... For Ocean riding, or comfort riding (unless you got 14k to spend on a seadoo IS) then get the yama. As said before from aha, relalibility is almost a non-issue anymore with the 4-tecs. However, if you get a yama be prepared to be beat almost everytime by doos. Perfomance def seadoo, to fart around def yama. this is my opinion only and should be taken as guidance and not advice.

my skis have been mainly seadoos but ive not got blinkers on and all have there faults!but def if its hole-shot and performance the seadoo is hard to beat unless your spending $$$$ on mods.
basically as has been said would you rather a merc or bmw.cant you get a go on any skis locally?
what are you after?2 seater,3 seater?performance or touring?
