    Machined Rear SC Housings

Who here still machines rear housings for 137 mm and 140 mm SC impellers? I need a housing machined to 137 mm for an X-charger impeller. I noticed a new one is $152, so that might be the route to take... of course then there is that extra oiling hole to plug.

    Anyone out there making 137's?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Most machine shops can do the work if there lathe is large enough or they have a rotary table for the mill. Mine was done local on a CNC lathe in manual mode with bearings and shaft installed.

Todd... that is a very generous offer, thank you. I'm OK with assembling the SC and checking the slip, but I could use your expertise in milling the back housing. Besides, though I have all new parts to assemble the x-charger, I am missing my '06 shaft (I may have tossed it in the trash by mistake), so Im in the process of locating another.

What do you need besides the housing? I think you need the bearing in place and possibly a shaft (I have an '05 I can send)... and you may need the impeller for measurement.

If you PM me the shipping address I'll get it to you. Thank you for the help.
