Most Possible Cause??? not charging battery GP1200R
On your experiences, what has caused most charging problems on a GP1200R 00????
1- Stator (is the same as Lightning Coil?)
2- Rectifier Regulator
Mine has an Output of only 3 volts, my brother's ski is at 13 volts (which I assume is normal)
Observation: One of the green cables overheated a connection on my ski.
Is there another way of testing the stator and rectifier besides the peak voltage? maybe someone can post some ohms readings?

download a service manual for my ski in y signature. I beleive in the technical data, there are specs where you can do an ohm check on those parts.
also, on that overheated wire, where does it go to and from location

Found some info under General Specs. Thanks
Stator resistance is within range but the voltage is low, but this could be due to a weak battery... I'm also getting low volts on the rectifier...

swap battery's or go get a new one. Usually the stator goes and causes this.
