Apparently it's typical of Kawasaki Triples(900/1100) engines. I have a 2000 900STX & a 98 1100STX...both were cold(as in not been run for a day or two) hard starters. I installed primers on both engines & both start right-a-way. They may sputter a few monents but smooth out after about 5 or so seconds. But at least i'm not draining the battery trying to get em' fired up for the first time at the begining of the day. Search >>>> PEVO.....for my posts on STX primer install w/pics Oh... FYI...Both are pre-mix too.
