    ski insurance?

    any good companys for ski insurance? and does anyone even have it??

    i'm insured through progressive, about 325 for the year, and i'm pleased with it

    I have had all my stuff with state farm for years, ski was half price at progressive.... boat was quite a bit cheaper too

    progressive, been giving best price since 06, told friends to shop around and compare prices, made me feel good they did and went with progressive as well

    gieco was a joke.. it dosnt cover hurricane or tropical storm damage, nothing on theft unless it is locked inside a building. its a joke really i was wondering if the others are the same?

    The main thing about insurance is to have a LOT of liability coverage! It's pretty cheap, and can save your butt if somebody gets hurt.

    Also, read the details! Some policies only cover during the summer months. Some don't cover use offshore. Some don't cover when you pull a tube or skier. Some don't cover your trailer. Most don't cover racing. Check operator qualifications, too!

    I just paid mine, $503 for the year, $100,000/300,000 liability. This policy covers my Ultra 150, STS 750, 750 SSXi (no hull coverage), and my Yamaha Exciter jet boat. It was issued by Farmer's Group.
