Rude 1 was not enough? The ET will be less reliable but could provide an increase of about 2 mph.

My Et has provided hours and hours of fun with only one minor problem with a seal which was waranteed fully!! I run a full stage III + Ride plate + ET and I assure you a Rude1 has no chance I wouldn't shy away because of lack of quality, I can't find any faults with my charger.

Not sure about the reliable claim there Fizzle. My 68-140 has been in a half dozen boats and just claimed a second in NC this weekend. Charger was handed to me today with a good 20+ hours and still holds 14 pounds slip!!!

Don't get me wrong, both chargers are badass but if properly setup and broke in the ET can be just as reliable.

It all depends on how well you boat is set-up. How fast are you running with the rude? We have a couple 68-140 powered stage 3 boats around here running from 84-86mph in the heat and 1 stock ecu running 81 in the heat.

+1. I have had and maintained a few of the Et chargers and put many trouble free hrs on them. We have 1 with 50 plus hrs on the original gear and washers. It will be getting freshened up real soon but its still working great and is on a 86+mph rxp.
