Look what i just bought tonight...

shes alright, scratches here and there and the hull is a lil beat up but watever. carbs are nice and clean. impeller is good, no chips, steering felt good, motor mounts were solid. i decieded to pull the trigger $950 i was looking at a sweet seadoo and i made the mistake of telling my buddy about it and he bought it lol. mechanically they were in about the same shape. but the seadoo's hull was in better shape. but mine has 10 more hp

this is my first ski. any advice on how to maintain it or mod it please feel free!

also it drips oil a lil out the exhaust in the rear is that normal? a big issue?or is it nothing?

Line it up against your buddy's and you will see it has a *little* more power and speed. $950 a great deal to get on the water.

Welcome to the Polaris Club CR12!
Re-do the seat and give her a lil maintenance, and ride her Bro!
I like the purple scheme. I think a purple grab handle would look better than the blue. Look at the pic and see what I mean. I even changed the grips from blue to blk and purple. And no, I'm not a Donny Osmond fan!

Welcome to the Hulk and I'm glad you went with the Polaris.

I would check the piston wash just to make sure your carbs are tuned correctly. After that giver her hell and have fun.

what do u mean piston wash? how do u do that? im a beginner auto mechanic so i can wrench a lil. today i pulled all the plugs, they were covered in oil. is that normal? also i took the carb cover off and looked down inside them. they look pretty clean but thats just the top view. there was a lil water inside the engine bay. is that normal? bilge pump works, reverse, starts good, a lil smokey but it goes away. the hull looks a lil beat up. some area the gel coat is chipped away like on the very bottom of the hull. its all rouch in some areas. is that ok? as long as its not leaking?

im just paranoid i wanna make sure shes a decent ski that wont give me any headaches out on the water especially.

wow and starflight urs is so clean! mine isnt that clean. a lil beat. the pctures make it look nicer then it is, up close its not so nice.
