over summer battery doesn't get more than a week off at anytime...but haven't had any problems with over a month of non-use either...

...shouldn't need anything to keep it charged during "riding" season...

    you havin issues?

Either use a Battery Minder, or use a trickle charger with a timer. A trickle charger left on continuously will eventually overcharge the battery and ruin it.

Set the timer to charge it about 15 minutes per day.

I've still got the original battery in my Ultra 150--my 1999 Ultra 150!

I left the trickle charger on my battery last season and it killed it.. It held the voltage but NO cranking amps!

I use a battery tender plus. It kicks off when it reaches full charge and keeps it trickled up. The one I have does 4 batteries so I just rotate batteries on & off, as I have 6 ski's and other battery crapola I have to charge.
3000 to 2500 out of the water is fine. It'll drop down to 10-1300 in the water.
