    Exclamation Cavitation Problem

    Hi!
I have a cavitation problem with my seadoo rxp 2006 40h.
When I am about to accelerate with the ski it "loses" the water and the impeller is just spinning and don't get any water.
I have changed the impeller and the intake grade.
I have talked to the workshop who changed the parts and they say that it can be a problem with the pump housing?

Does somebody else know what the problem is? Do I have do change the anti-cavitation cone? Should I try with another pump house?
    Please help me

    btw.
I have no problem with the engine and I have reached the top speed 68 mph 2 people + tankful.

The carbon seal is #36. The flat surface of the carbon seal rides against the flat surface of #31. You have to pull the boat back and inspect the surfaces for flatness and wear. Make sure there is no debris (though debris would most likely cause a water leak).

Ok! thanks guys, but isn't that a unlikely problem? I've talked to the workshop guys and they thinks the problem have to do with the jet pump housing?

What about the wear ring? If it is trashed, air is getting through thus creating cavitation.. Mine (04 RXP) was doing the same thing.. New wear ring and 14/19 Solas and it is a rocket out of the hole..

Ok! becuse, I was just wondering becuse i have no cavitation problem in higher speeds, only when i stop and go, or accelerate! So you think to change the seal would fix the problem?
