I want to learn more
I have a 2000 GTX RFI. I already have the shop manual for my seadoo which is great but certainly does not cover everything.
Is there a better book/video or even online tech courses? I work as a FF fulltime so attending a mechanics class really isn't an option.

There are links on here for shop manuals...do a search as I don't have it bookmarked right now. I think MEEPER has them available in his signature. May have one for the GTI, I don't know.

To be honest, your best bet is to just keep reading threads on here. I found this website a little over a year ago when I got my first ski, knowing VERY little about PWCs and how the they work. Well, yesterday I just picked up a hull to start building a ski. I never would have thought I would be doing this a year ago, but by reading the threads and seeing pictures, I have a lot of confidence that I will be able to build this ski.

If you have the Service Manual, that's about as good as the documentation gets. IIRC, the RFI was hard to work on - especially the air/fuel injection system. I think that you will get more answers on the Sea Doo 2-Stroke forum... Ron
